Door Lock Problem

I have a 1995 Saab 900s. I was having trouble with the alarm going off a lot while I was at work, so I decided to stop arming it with the keyless remote. Instead, I switched to locking and unlocking with the door key, which I hadn't used before. I must have done something wrong because now the indoor power lock switch does nothing, and the locks do not respond to the remote. The only way to lock or unlock the car is with the key or the manual door buttons. The remote still works for the hatch back. What have I done? I can't figure it out.
