WTB Crankshaft position sensor pigtail

I need to buy the pigtail for a crankshaft position sensor. My car is a 95 sohc. I need the pigtail and about 4-5 inches of wire back from it to splice it into my harness. For some dumb reason the previous owner cut it up and had it twisted together very poorly. It was working, now nothing .

Re: WTB Crankshaft position sensor pigtail

The new cam and crank sensors require a different connector than the original wich forces you the splice on a new connector when you replace a sensor. I would guess this has already been replaced on your car and the mechanic did a poor job splicing in the new connector. Take your sensor off the car and bring it to the auto store to be sure you get the right connector. Auto Zone sells the connector with 4-5" wires separatly. (it is the same one as for the cam sensor) @ napa the new connector comes with the sensor.
