COMPLETE: Dad's '57 Chevy
Just in time for his birthday.
Very straightforward build, I focused on getting a nice mirror finish on the paint (a bit hard to tell in the pics, I still need to work on my photography), the BMF and the right stance that he would like. I didn't even bother wiring the engine, just cleaned up the engine bay nicely. Remember, this was built mostly by restoring my first ever model that I built when I was like 10, so there was still a fair bit of work involved. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Well, I'm sure he will be very pleased to have it! Nice and clean build! One of my favorite classic Chevy's.

Re: COMPLETE: Dad's '57 Chevy
Very nice! I am slowly working on a57 chevrolet as well. One question though, what color is that panel on the side. I been tryin to google a close up of one of those. I dont think its made of chrome or staimless on the real cars. Are they just painted silver?
