I'm 6'2 or 6'3 with shoes

I have a 91 n/a (that's gen2) and I fit fine. But, I do sit with the seat all of the way back... and it's not a stock seat.

For me, my mr2 is the perfect size. Everything is right where it should be, I feel snug, but not crammed or tight. I've driven for 3+ hours at a time and felt great.

So, I don't know how much difference 2 inches will have...

I have plenty of headroom, though I'd imagine my sport seats lower me a little compared to the stock seats.

I guess your best bet is to try and drive one.

Re: how tall is to tall?

The stock seats sit pretty low as is. I know Bride makes low seat rails for some cars, I am not sure about for the MR2. Either way, the OEM MR2 seats are pretty low as is, lower than in a standard car (after all, most sports cars have low seats) and the headroom is decent. Granted, I am only 5'9", but still. The headroom is pretty decent. I have a friend about 6'3" or 6'4", who has a very nice MR2. I've never heard him complain about headroom either. His car has some expensive non-reclining Sparco's in it now. He had reclining Brides in it before...he still has them actually, they just aren't in that MR2 right now.

After you've looked at the MR2, post back up and let us know what you think of it!!

Re: how tall is to tall?

It depends on if you have long legs or a long torso. I have a friend that is 6'6" and he fits in a mk2. Only way to find out is to go sit in one.
