Head Swap???
I know porting/polishing your heads are good for power, and on N/A's, swapping heads can be great.
For example, the new fad for honda tuners is to take a K-series engine, 2.0-2.4 L and putting on the RSX type S head to make nearly 300HP. Is it possible to swap other heads onto the 6G72 engine, say maybe the 6G74? I don't know much about the 74, other than people swap it into their 3/S. Maybe the MIVEC version?

Re: Head Swap???
i think going with a variable system is going to be more trouble than its worth. Othat than that...i think our heads are the best performance out of the stock 6g7x heads.
You could always just get some stage 2/3 heads... |

Re: Head Swap???
Well that solves that question then.
I was thinking about having them ported and polished. What is the differences in that and the stages? do the staged heads come with upgraded camshafts?

Re: Head Swap???
The difference is that those honda guys are taking the performance car's head, and putting it on their non-performance car. With this car you are starting out with the performance engine.

Re: Head Swap???
3sx and Dynamic Racing both sell both individual camshafts, and entire ported heads. IPS has just camshafts for N/A. Links below
