Re: Starting Problem with my 92 Buick Lesabre

Was your engine turning over or was your starter motor going by itself? If the starter motor was going by itself you likely need a new starter. The teeth are not being engaged into the flywheel. Starters are cheap and plentiful at u-pick salvage yards.

If your engine is turning over, check for engine codes first. Next, check your fuses. Next, check fuel pressure and also check to see if you have spark. You might have a bad fuel pump or a clogged fuel filter. You might have a bad ignition coil or ignition module. You might have a bad computer. You might have a completely worn engine (doubtful). Post back with some more details and maybe someone will be able to direct you further.
