As one of the more frequently spotted F1s in the UK, we've been following this car for several years. For many of those years, there was no solid confirmation on the chassis number, but it was believed to be chassis #049. This F1 has worn two different license plates - the one in your photos, and more recently "MAC 1P", but one thing that has remained constant and is likely unique to this car is the blue leather interior so it has been easy to identify compared to many other silver F1s.

Refer to this thread and you will see that someone finally took the opportunity to photograph the chassis plate in the interior, confirming that this is actually chassis #046:

It is probably mentioned somewhere in that thread, but the owner of this car for the past several years has been Juan Barazi.

Chassis numbers with an R such as 16R denote an F1 GTR - or an F1 built originally as a racing car. There were a total of 28 GTRs built from 1995 to 1997, with the last 10 being of the longtail variety.

For more information on the various versions of F1s and their associated chassis numbers, please refer to the McLaren Model Guide found on QV500.com.

Welcome and thanks for the pictures.
