Assuming your driving is up to par you shouldn't have much problem. Only one way to find out for sure though....go race him. (post vids too)

Yeah with your upgrades assuming you can drive you can easily hit a solid mid 13's with ease.

If the 300zx is stock you should have no prob., if he has bpu its a driver's race.

I would think it should be a fairly easy win for you if you race him not long after he gets his car, it will be easy for you to get a jump at launch and he will be all pumped up and prob spin tires for a sec. Good luck though! let us know what happens if he gets the car.

Re: Anyone ever race a stock 300zx TT?

should be a pretty good race. You should get him off the line, but IIRC, your going to be at a slight gearing disadvantage with the 6-spd. But unless your doing a 1/4 mile that shouldnt matter.

+1 for VIDEO!

Re: Anyone ever race a stock 300zx TT?

i raced one. are you guys going from a roll or from a dead still?

either way its not gonna be easy, the 300zxtt ONLY got slightly slower 1/4 mile times then the 2nd gen vr4's becuase of our launch.
the 300zx is like racing a 1st gen vr4 300lbs lighter with rwd.

your advantage is your ebc, otherwise it be a drivers race.
but if he happens to go get a 20dollar bc, before the race, its gonna be a good one

oh yea forgot about your mods...i was thinking stock vs stock.

well, be safe man. no amount of bragging rights is worth risking your life or your car.
