Check Engine Light Code P0455

1999 GM

Need help getting this repaired, it is supposed to be "evaporative emission control system leak detected". Anybody have any idea what this is, O'Reilly's does not list a part.

Any Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Check Engine Light Code P0455

P0455 code means that you have an EVAP leak. You can check the CV solenoid, EVAP canister and purge valve, fuel filler neck, fuel vapor control valve, fuel vapor return lines. If you do not find any problems with these items you will need to find a shop with a smoke machine and have them trace the problem for you, as this is not always a problem that can be easy to find by eye.
