Intermittant problem wont go in or out of gear

I have already fixed this problem but I fugured it might help out someone else. I had an 05 focus zx3 in the garage yesterday that would drive fine but intermittantly not go into gear or come out of gear just like you had lost your slave cylinder but the pedal still felt fine. clutch still let out fine and everything seemed to work like it was supposed to. Ended up having a broken shock load spring in the clutch disc that was rolling around in there and not letting the pressure plate fully disengage SOMETIMES. I figured I would post this because it might help someone else out.

Thank you for sharing that with us. Sure as God made little green apples someone else will have the same problem.
