Welcome to the forum.

Unfortunately, I'm having a hard time deciphering where one of you sentences ends and the next begins. Rather than me trying to interpret what you meant, please edit your post with punctuation.

Have you tried spraying starter fluid in the throttlebody to see if it'd start? and do you hear the fuel pump running for a second if you turn the key over to ACC without turning the motor on?

Re: 99 explorer wont start!!!

Sorry i didnt know that my sentence writing was so bad. I appologize for that. Basically yes i did try spraying starting fluid on plugs and in intake. I did not get anything to happen. I am getting plenty of fuel to the plugs, they get soaked when i try to start the motor. I am not getting any spark i have changed the plug wires, crankshaft pos sensor, coil, and pcm (i bought a computer since i left last post still no luck). I have no idea where to turn now the motor cranks good and its getting gas but no spark just dont know where to turn next. Please help if you can thanks.

Re: 99 explorer wont start!!!

Make sure the connector to the coil is plugged in. If you happen to have access to an oscilloscope and wiring diagram, you could verify whether or not you are getting drive to your coil as well as signal from the Crankshaft Position Sensor to the PCM. Also, check the fuses to make sure you don't have a blow fuse for the coil. Specifically, check fuse 19, a 25A fuse in the Central Junction Box.

When you turn the key to the "Run" position, do all the bulbs complete the bulb check as usual? Have you verified with a spark tester that you are not getting spark, or just trusting that since you have wet plugs you aren't getting spark?

I suppose it may be worth testing the battery to make sure it is holding a good charge. Maybe the voltage is too low to allow the PCM to operate reliably, but still allows the starter to crank. This seems unlikely, but is quite common with the Lincoln LS which is another Ford product.

Oh, one last question for now, which engine does your Explorer have?
