P0411 Secondary Air Injection system
I have a 2006 Grand Prix with a code number P0411 Secondary Air Injection system. I was told that it was the air solenoid check valve is stuck closed.
Is this something that could be fixed easily, or do I need a new air pump? If it can be fixed, has anyone done it? |

I've done a few,there not to easy.it's a secondary air shutoff valve.it's located at the back of the engine above the rear valve cover at the firewall.all the one's that I've changed get stuck due to water and moisture.if you change this valve you can look inside the vavle and see rust and corrosion,this makes the valve freeze.also common on trailblazers and envoys.if you by the valve it comes as a whole unit,including the bracket.
