Finding heater core hoses on '98 windstar

I'm trying to locate the heater core hoses on my 1998 Windstar..I've read other threads with readers finding them easily....am I missing something obvious (won't be the first time! )...Could someone describe where I might find these hoses or would someone have a diagram????? I'm in Indiana, it's getting cold and the heater is blowing cold air...I'd like to see if cleaning out the hoses will solve my problem...Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

Hey Steve,

Look on the firewall right of center and you should find two hoses about 1" in diameter located next to one another. These would be your heater hoses in/out. They should be fairly close to your aluminum tube A/C lines through the firewall as well. I looked for a photo online but did not find a definitive one.

Be sure and check your coolant level to include pulling the radiator cap when cool and checking for coolant there. Don't go just by your expansion tank. Low/no coolant is the most common cause of no heat.

Good luck

Hi, I have a good photo (from my '96) that shows the hoses if you post an email or send me a private message with your email. I am working on getting my profile changed to allow attachments but for now I cannot.
