i have a question

if i add a 85 pound system (subs,box,amp,etc) to my srt 4 will it slow it down??? beacause of the weight/....

I would believe that it would slow down a little, maybe not noticeable, but still the car would have to work harder to compensate for that little bit of extra wieght...

Yeah, no kidding huh... I believe if you look in these forums, you will find an article telling you how to shave off weight for your car... If your that concerned about wieght issues, i'd definitely check it out...

85 pounds is 85 pound. It will slow down a little. Keep in mind that people rip out stereo systems just to spare a few pounds to go faster.

Weight is weight. You might not notice but it would be something I could notice. Imagine the difference you feel when say your g/f with you and when you drive alone; it's enough to feel. Personally I think systems are a waste of money.

True enough boys... I geuss for me, since I beat a Mustang last weekend, that's enough for me... I still have the factory system in the car... So for me right now, it's a balance of power and convience...
