Power seat

I have a 96 Intrepid. The passenger power seat motor for the fwd and bacward motion does not work. Seat and back tilt operates normal. The seat died in the full fwd positon. Is there some way to manually move the seat backwards? Also, FYI, just r & r'ed the heater core. What a huge job. The a/c does not blow cold, heard that expansion valve goes bad on this model so r & r 'ed. Am vacuuming and recharging system today after r & r of the receiver/dryer and if there are no leaks.

Re: Power seat

hey, guess what,do it again this vehicle is known for evaparators and as you was already there it should have been done at the same time.feel 4 u.as for the seat, you would have to take the motor off cause it is a gear reduction drive system.if you really wanted to work at it,you could severely ruin the motor and turn it by hand but it just is'nt worth it.you know?
