I was going to go outside today and take off all my wheels and clean them up and also see how my brakes are doing but that all came to a stop when i realized that lugs are rusted to my steelies!!!!! What should i do!?!?! I tryed using some wd-40 to get some of the rust off and lube it up but it still didn't work. And i cut my finger real bad in the process............anyone got any ideas?

Cutting Torch - !! he he he - No seriously though, try heating up the metal with some kind of torch or something, don't damage it, but when you heat it up it expands the metal and sometimes makes it easier to get nuts off and stuff. Or you can just try LOTS of TORQUE on the lugs - he he

I think heating it will just expand the nut and the bolt so it won't help....it might though....I would suggest using the biggest breaker bar you can get your hands on.

Ya, if the breaker bar doesn't work, I would try heating it up - lots of tech and mechanics and bit machinist that I know use heat to help get nuts off.

Get the sand your puss and put some muscle into, they'll break loose. When they go back on put some anti-seize on the studs.

Try some PB Blaster, it break through rust hella good. We used it on Seth90dx/zc's car, when his rims where stuck on. heres a link to partsamerica.com, you can order it there or use their store locator and see if you can buy it locally.

maybe if u have a compressor and an impact gun u can try using that, that should have enough power to take it off... or someone suggested using a big breaker bar, that would work also. use like a rubber mallet and just hit the end of the breaker bar and it should come loose. we had to do that to a 68 vw bug last year when they were rusted on. someone used the impact gun which worked while other ppl used breaker bars, had all 4 wheels off in 5-8 mins lol car was completely stripped that day... sorry bout goin O/T and rambelling(sp) on hehe

If your lugs are rusted then it may be time to replace them anyways...if they break, they break, its an easy fix.

take a steel pipe and putit on your lug wrench so you have like a 5 foot lug wrech (lots of tourqe) they will break free, maybee try so naval jelly or some kinda of rust eating chemical like that first.
