I am looking into buying some inexpensive wheel alignment tools and I was wondering what everyone uses? Just trying to get a good tool that works with out breaking the bank.

Re: wheel alignment tools
I had used those Snapon magnetic caster/camber gages that mount to the spindle along with their turntables. Any turntables should do. Also pick up the tools that lock the brake pedal and hold the steering wheel straight.
As far as the toe goes, trammel bars work somewhat, but I usually eyeball the front inner sidewalls of the tires in relationship to the back ones. For vendors, Bear used to make some nice ones, Lisle might carry them as well. I think if you Google around you may have some luck. Bob |
