Unless you are very knowledgable of how to set your timing and such, i would get a mechanic to do it. You dont want to advance or retard your timing on accident and messup someting...

i say 200 bucks down the drain
not to offend you or anything but that was a serious waste on an untuned civic motor. spend your money on things that make your car look better or go faster. but then again it is your money.

cam gear = money + :bathroom:

How do you know this person doesnt have a semi built motor?

I would have said why waste your money on an automatic before I said anything about spending money on a cam gear. :flash:

either way, its better to spend money making your car faster, (or trying to) than to spend it on useless crap like different trun signal lenses or some crap like that

no, personally, i wouldnt have bought the auto in the first place, but if it was given to me, or thats all i had, id save for the maual swap first and foremost. what i was saying was, trying to make your car faster is better than trying to make your car "look fast"

Maybe hes gonna go level10 tranny setup? Rarely do you see this so its an unlikely thing to think about... but since no one here knows him, we all shouldnt jump to conclussions. Who knows, maybe he was in a not at fault accident which severely limited the mobility of his left leg, and is expecting a big cash settlement any day now - so he feels the limited use of his leg warrants the purchase of an automatic. Or maybe he doesnt have a left leg at all... The first thing we do as people is jump to conclussions - and/or assume things. And assumption is the mother of all f*ck ups!

I say do your thing play boy, modding your car is about YOU - not other people. They dont drive your car, they dont have to deal with it on a day in and day out basis... but do the rest of us fellow road users a favor and make sure all your modifications are done properly. :smoka:

No... because it puts me, and other road users in danger because of his stupidity. So no, no it isnt alright - and im sure you would agree if one ever spun off, went through the side of his car and embedded itself into the side of your block or something.

Driving is a privilege, and part of the responsibility you take when accepting a license is that you will drive respectably and maintain your vehicle properly... if you cant do that, then you shouldnt be on the road.
