North American TDI?????

Hey all, dunno if you can tell from the SN and avatar, but im normally over in the camaro forum, but had a quick question for you.

Im a huge diesel fan, and have recently discovered the 1.9L TDI, and seen some VW jettas putting down serious power numbers (best ive seen 318hp and 493lb-ft of torque), but im really not a jetta kinda guy.

Ive done some research and have found out that there is an Audi A4 with a 5 speed manual and quattro that came with the 1.9L TDI from 1998-2003, at least with the A4 90hp TDI i need, but for the life of me, i cant find any for sale.

So im wondering, was that a european only model??? or do people just love them so much there arent any for sale???

Only in Europe I’m afraid and they did a 110bhp version also in the 1.9TDi.
