1997 grand am gauges stopped working
My grand am gauges just stopped working I have checked all of the wires/ ground and even swaped out the instrument cluster and pcm. checked all three gauge fuses. There are two wires that connect at the top of cluster that I get no continuity from. any ideas? Also does anyone know what these wires control?
Thanks |

Hey Lowside,
The same problem just happened to me. I had just droven off of the lot of our local vehicle inspection center and as soon as I hit the street, all my gauges died. I have been searching and searching for help on this and have come up empty. I guess I'll check with a Pontiac dealer to see if they can give me any answers. Have you had any luck? |

Re: 1997 grand am gauges stopped working
Welcome to AF guys !
Your troubles are common with your years models. It is reffed to as the ICP (instrument cluster panel) you will find many threads pertaining to this. You can buy a replacement ICP on the internet for pretty cheap, or thier are places that can repair the damaged one but for the price you might as well just buy one already remade/repaired.
