93 S-10 Clutch Master Cylinder

So I need some tips, tricks, techniques and any help I can get on replacing my clutch master cylinder.

I let my dad barrow my pick-up to move a fridge and when he came back he said that he had bent the push rod, but that he had rebent it straight. Well a couple months down the road now, I went out to start it on a very cold morning the clutch pedal wouldn't push in and the rod bent again. Well this time the when trying to straighten the rod it snapped in half. So needless to say I now need to replace the rod, but I figured I just as well replace the whole thing since the rod is only sold with the clutch master cylinder.

Any help is GREATLY appreciated...

assuming it comes with the line, unhook line from slave cylinder under truck. fluid will leak out...no problem. make sure you have some FRESH dot 3 brake fluid. remove rod from pedal and clutch master cylinder. there are bolts/nuts holding it to the bulkhead(firewall). they could be inside under dash, or outside on the clutch master cylinder...don't remember. remove those and wiggle it out. install is just the reverse, and then bleed the system VERY WELL. should be good togo.

I would be concerned as to why the rod is bending. That tells me there is something wrong with eather the enguagement fork or the throwout bearing.
some of the forks have a grease fitting at the bell housing, some throw out bearings are greaseable.
The rod to the slave cylinder should never bend unless restricted by something
