Wiring in the Steering ...

While working on the electric steering... at some point I have lost my horn and cruise control. With the black junction box that is clipped on the bottom of the colum... does anyone know what each of the plug in connectors are for? Wiring diagram would really be good.

Thanks,

I don't know anything about those connectors but you might try going to a ford or lincoln dealer. I had some electrical questions and the local dealership let me take a look at their wiring diagrams. Good luck

There should be a yellow wire with a light green tracer going up to the steering wheel, if there is power there, when you ground it the horn should blow. If there is no power, the fuse for tht horn is blown or the relay is bad.

If the horn does blow there is a open to the ground at the steering wheel. The wheel should be grounded. If not the contacts at the turn signal is probably your problem.
