OBD 2 port location?
Hi all,
Does anyone know where the OBD 2 port is located on the 98-2003 model 2.0ltr Accord? I've checked on a Autodata2 cd, it appears to be somewhere underneath the steering wheel column. I took off the fascia plate below steering wheel column, but can't find socket. I know on the earlier models, there's an auto link connector, underneath glove box. Think this model has an OBD port though. Any suggestions? Thanks. |

Re: OBD 2 port location?
Not sure but on my 96 you take out the ash tray and it is behind it.

Re: OBD 2 port location?
this model should have obd2 and it can be on the left inner driver side where the gas pedal is look really hard because sometimes the plug is black and u cant see it really well use a flashlight and last but not least some models have the port covered with a pretty cover on the dashboard and dont forget the passenger side too

Thanks for getting back. Spent about an hour looking for it. Checked behind the fascia, above peddles. Couldn't see it. It's my neighbors car, so if I get access to it again, I shall have another look. If it was my car, I'd have looked until I'd found it. I own a mk 4 Astra, the port is under handbrake lever, same with Vectra's. Ford KA on passengers side door pillar, under carpet. Bravo, mk 3 Punto's near internal fuse box. These are the cars I've used my reader on so far. I disconnected & then reconnected battery on the Accord, ECU light went out. For how long? Who knows. Cheers. George. |
