2000 stalls on startup
Id say about every other time I start my 2000 Durango cold, it will stall on startup and I have to keep my foot on the gas at all times until the engine warms up. I have replaced the battery and cleaned the terminals and connectors, TPS and ignition coil. Also replaced within the last 6 months are the spark plugs, spark plug wires and cap and rotor. I had originally suspected a bad alternator but because it is not a constant problem, I ruled it out. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Re: 2000 stalls on startup
I would have the alternator tested. Free at Autozone or Checker or Pep Boys.
I would then change fuel filters, and air filter. Could be the airflow sensor. |

Re: 2000 stalls on startup
I had this exact problem last week on mine. My mechanic replaced the IDLE AIR MOTOR and it hasn't had a problem since. Hope this helps.
