Emission system problem code po446

I have a 96 chevy s-10 4.3 liter engine that failed emissions-code po446. Ihave found the vapor cannister and i believe the vent control valve which is connected to it. but cannot find the purge valve solenoid. can anyone tell me where this is located. thanks in advance.

if you live where there is dust dirt roads etc... the most likely problem is that the vent solenoid is plugged with debris replace or clean......p0446 too much vacuum in canister fuel puge system vent is probably dirty.......

the purge valve is in the engine compartment follow the evap line off the manifold (look for a green valve stem cap thats the evap line) it should be mounted on or near a charcoal canister.
