240sx power steering removal
Hi guys. I'm getting ready to buy my first rwd performance car, and I was looking at a 240Z because its light, and smog exempt. But after talking to a guy that does smogs in CA today, I think I can get an SR20det through with some creativity, so I'm going with a 240sx. My question is this: Will removing the power steering screw the 240's handling? I don't mind the high effort, as long as the feedback is ok. Anybody removed it?

if you go to rack and pinion, it will improve your handling, power steering is alot less responsive than rack and pinion

"Your other option is to remove the stock lines, crank the steering back and forth a few times to pump out any excess fluid. Then cap off the power steering fittings. Voila. Manual steering."
