Box under stearing column 95 jimmy
I have a 95 jimmy and while I was under the dash I noticed a small box under the stearing column(maybe 3"x1 1/2"x 1/2" thick) closer to the firewall with a dial /knob on it , does anyone have any idea what this is?

Re: Box under stearing column 95 jimmy
Sounds to me like it's a shock sensor for a car alarm.
The dial/knob would be for adjusting the sensitivity of the sensor. Long long time ago i used to install car alarms for a living, and we would strap the shock sensor to the steering coloum.
