After my Aztek brush took a crap. I needed a new brush. I got a bunch of good advice from you guys! decided on an Iwata, the HP-CR....thanks Klutz!

I ordered it from Coastbrush out of Cali, after over a week, I called them to say I didn't get a shipping confirmation. They said, "oh, we don't have that one in stock"
needless to say, i wasn't too happy about that. I had them cancel my order and started looking AGAIN.....

well, i found Dolly at the www.merriartist.com this chick rocked!!!!!! she was so informative, she knew her s*** about painting and her brushes. I placed the order (i called the number instead of just ordereing it online, to make sure the brush i wanted was in stock) she shipped it out within the hour, i had a shipping confirmation number. Free shipping over 60 bucks. her brushes were in the right price range, she carries all the replacement parts. it was just a great experience. I ended up buying TWO!!!! the iwata hp-cr and the hp-ch.

I got both brushes, 10' braided hose (with connectors), a double air brush holder that vices onto the work bench, and four extra needles. two of the .5 mm and two of the .3 mm. total shipped: $327.60

For anyone in the US where there are Hobby Lobby's, I was just in mine the other day and they have the Iwata CR (which I have and LOVE) for $100. If you use the weekly 40% off one item coupon, you're talking $60 for a heck of an airbrush.
They have all the replacement parts too... needles, tips, bodies, hoses, etc...
Just trying to give some other options for those who have access to HL.
