2007 Civic EX firewall
I am trying to install and aftermarket stereo in my new 2007 civic ex sedan. It has a manual transmission, therefore the easy firewall pass through plug is not there because the clutch is. I have all the wires pulled and everything good to go inluding having the new deck installed, but cannot find a firewall pass through for an amp power wire. Any suggestions??

Re: 2007 Civic EX firewall
Try near the battery, or near where the OEM wire harness comes through. I don't own an 07, and haven't had the pleasure of doing an install yet, but usually those are pretty good spots. If not, you can always drill your own. You'll need a UniBit or a series of drill bits going from small to large. Make sure to use a rubber grommet or silicone, preferably both, to seal the hole and prevent the wire from having the insulation cut.
If you're in AZ I could help ya out. I've been installing since I was 16, and used to work at Audio Express as Install Manager.
