Hard tire spin
So today it was rainy outside and I turned off traction control and punched the gas. I sat there and spun to a little over 5k rpm and stupidly jumped off the gas and then it shifted into second, while still spinning. Being that I was only a few hundred feet from my house, I had no problems, but hopefully have none. Anyone think that this may have injured my transmission?

Re: Hard tire spin
I wouldnt worry about it. Ive done it a couple times with no problems. Its not something Id want to be doing every day, because it is hard on the transmission. But I dont think just doing it once would hurt anything, just scares you more than anything.

Re: Hard tire spin
the question is...does your transmission still work? if so then dont worry about it.
