Humming noise from the front end

I have a 95 Buick Park Ave I get a low humming noise from the front end. The noise only presents itself after I reach about 20 to 30 KPH the sound gets steadily higher in pitch as I speed up, and lower in pitch as I slow.

Re: Humming noise from the front end

You may need to put the car on a lift & check for play in the front bearing hubs. Do you here any change in the "Humming" when you turn the wheels to make a right or left turn, or going around a sharp curve?

No change in the sound when I turn the wheels at all, I don't even hear the noise till I reach a speed of about 30 or 40 kpm. The sound is like the tires make on a big 4x4 with knobby tires that hum you get form the tires on the road.
