Defrost vent, top center of dash, removable??

I just got a 2002 PT on Monday, 5spd, fun as heck to drive and i love it!

The only thing that annoys me, the previous owner somehow busted up the defrost vent in the center top of the dash, no idea how but its broken. Does it pop out of the dash? Anyone know how to get a replacement?

I can't find any PT's in salvage yards around here, they just dissapear as fast as they arrive if they are rebuildable, and if they are damaged beyond repair it seems they never pull out these type of parts for resale before crushing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Actually it appears to be a brown color, not gray. The dash is a two tone brown, so i'm not sure what i should be asking dealers for now.

Anyone???
