305hp@5800 rpm's
300 lbs.-ft of torque @ 4800 rpm's
Borg-Warner T45 5-speed transmission, but the only downfall of the trans was it is only rated to handle 320hp. Not so good if your looking to slap on a supercharger or something.

List price in 96 was $24,810 for a coupe, so $7 grand now isn't too bad. Just remember there are 100k miles on it now, and you don't know what kinda miles they are. Look at it very closely and make sure its what you want!

how much can it handle?

alright, so you're saying that the trans can only handle a 15 more HP max. What kind of aftermarket mods can I do (Ram Air, Cold Air Induction, Intake, Exaust, Headers)? Is this a huge downfall? Also, I am somewhat concerned with the fact that it has 100K on everything, even if they are "Highway miles."

Thanks

The 320 hp quote is just a general number, I know several guys with modded 4.6 liter cobras who are running a supercharger with stock trans without any problem. Just wouldnt bang it to hard The best mod for a 96 cobra would be 4:10 gears. Those engines love to rev, and nothing wakes them up like steep gears.

I hate Texas.

When I move to Oklahoma, it'll drop to about 230 a month.

I don't know why the rates are so varied like that.

I pay $62 a week, or about $3,200 a year for both my cars. Los, I'm glad I don't pay as much as you, but I wish I payed what 94svt5.0 does.

as far as my limited knowledge is concerned, a "bullitt" is a special edtion of the Mustang. One of its asthetic features is the crome gas cap. As far as specs and performance, Im not sure how much of improvement it has over other 'Stangs.

Among other things the bullit has different suspension, no spoiler, special gas cap, and of course Bullit wheels. Underhood it has a different intake and underdrive pullies, but it is only rated at 265 hp, 5 more then a GT. Inside, it has different gauges and aluminum door sills. Im sure Los will add the stuff I missed.
