trans problem

i have a 2006 silverado 5 speed, going from first to second gear it hangs up like its stuck between gears, any clues... only 12000 miles on it...

Take it back to the dealer, should be under warrenty.

while it should be a warranty fix, my first guesses would be worn/faulty 1-2 synchro. could also be air problem in clutch hyd. system...after one shift it holds good enough to shift to 5th, but these are just guesses.
