95 4.3 firing order ( two? )
4.3r's!!
I KEEP GETTING CONFLICTING INFO ON TH FIRING ORDER FOR 4.3 VORTECS. HAVE AN AFTER MARKET CAP & ROTOR; FIRING ORDER NUMBERS DONT JIVE. IS IT LEFT BANK--1,3,5 & RIGHT 2,4,6 ; OR OTHERWISE? |

Yes that is the right cylinder locations.
Firing order is clock wise 1 6 5 4 3 2 1 and 2 is on front of engine. Have you got the old style high top dist cap or the new flat top cap? Flat top cap has the plug wire to cylinder numbered on cap. MT

95 had two different configurations. There was the early style that had the wires that went in the top of the cap. The firing order for that was 165432.
The later style had wires that went in the sides of the cap. That firing order is: 6...5
(pass. side) 4...1 (driver side) 2...3 (front of engine) Just for reference this is the cylinder numbers: 6...5 (pass. side) 4...3 (driver side) 2...1 (front of engine) |
