Re: Easiet way to add Horsepower...

depends on engine and budget. if the right parts are chosen, all can ad power, and most are relatively cheap....except when cops are behind you.

The easiest way to add speed is to have a car, but to answer your question, probably the programmer. Incidentally, a 2.2l Beretta will beat a 5.4l F-150 to where his lane ended.

Re: Easiet way to add Horsepower...

yeah lets just stick to answering the questions as they are asked. BECAUSE I already have a car...real fast one too. 87 Monte Carlo ss with a boatload of goodies..But as far as the truck goes I think I will combo a Maxx Energy Hypertech programmer with custom dual catback exhaust/KN cold air intake. Thanks again guys...And yes If you want the SS all you gotta do is bring some green and its on.

Re: Easiet way to add Horsepower...

I didn't mean anything by it... just pointing out that horsepower on a truck is... well, I think I'll just leave it there. Now torque, that's another issue.

I also wasn't saying a Beretta is fast, certainly not a match for a Monte Carlo, just pointing out that in that case 1/2 the horsepower (maybe less) won.
