Who's your favourate online modeler?

By that i mean those that showcase their work on their own site.

I have three in particular.

My fav has to be Subway coz its very much what i'm into and his creations and finishes are just first class everytime.

Then its a tough choice between Lau Bak and Hiroaki Fukuda

Lau bcoz all his builds are just stunning and also coz he shows them off so well with some excellent photography.

Hiroaki's site was one of the very first car model sites i came across after finally getting my own computer a couple of years back and therefore access to the net. It was seeing his work and build diarys that got me back into the hobby after a long hiatus. I guess in a roundabout way, he is kind of responsible for SAS being born coz if i hadn't got back into modeling then i wouldn't have rekindled the idea i had all those years ago!

*edit* I forgot to mention, they are all fellow AFers too!
Who are yours??????

Lau Bak, I remember my friend jaxson sending me his site long before I came to AF, I was extremely impressed!!

Second place goes to Kunta's site, third goes to hirofkd's, fourth to Subway's, fifth to SAS!

Thumbs up

It's a hard decision but I would have to say LauBak had the most influence on my online modeling; I got a lot of my ideas from his site Everybody else is a close second including myself There's a modeler named Ken who has an awesome site as well. There are links to quite a few really good model sites on the first page of my website.

Antonio, Murco & Hawk. Murco has excellent detailing skills in my opinion. Hawk has the most beautiful paint I have ever seen & Antonio just kicks arse it all! After those 3 I'd have to say my dad, he is really really good at car models and my brother is rated as one of if not the best painter in the area in which I live. He does graf and makes his pieces nearly look real by his shading and 3D skills. I can never get him to do a car model but he has done a few planes.

He's going to have to get my vote too after surfing his site for a bit. Next would be subway. I love his R34 with flame throwing exhaust!

There is many great modelers and every of them is expert for some kind of cars or doing something on cars. It's very hard to pick only few of them.
But I will choose my friend Rinus who drag me into car modeling from airplanes. His models are on our site Fast wheels.

IMO you're all great modellers...but if I had to choose:

Lau Bak is one of my fav's as his photography really compliments his work.

Hiroaki clean builds, and again, a very influential scratch builder.

FOTW (you do have a gallery on SAS) very clean builds. another conversion influence.

PMan (OK, who may not have a site as far as I'm aware), 100% all the time, great photography and always lightning fast builds.

Note to all: these AF'ers are the ones that spring to mind immediately. I probably haven't viewed everybody's work
