Cracked Windshield...

Today i was cutting my 350Z's windshield from its tree....it cracked. I'm thinking about ordering one from Tamiya's customer service line. Are they free? Or do they charge shipping? It doesn't say anything about money on there website. Any help would be appreciated.

They're not free. I've ordered parts before. Expect to pay about $2-$5 plus shipping, it is about $3 to So. Cal, one hour from where I live. Also that is IF they have the parts. They don't stock every part for their kits. If they do you can pay with credit card or money order only and it is hazzle free. Hope this helps.

I know this is too late but a tip about cutting clear parts first of all do not cut super close. Use a new single edge blade to cut parts, place tem on something soft and suuport the area to be cut. You can also use flush cutting side cutters, placing the flat flush side of the blade towards the part to be cut and the angled side of blade away from part. This insures the the sprue will be stressed and pulled away from the part instead of the other way around. Then use a abrasive stick or sandpaper to remove the excess plastic still on part.
