91 firebird

my firebird has a 305 (5.0) and it wont stay runnin when u start to drive it sputter then dies but starts up and dies what could b the problem help

sputter death usually points to a fuel issue. Check the pressure out, or atleast in the mean time replace the filter.

but i put a new fuel pump and filter in it but someone said it could b the distributer can that be the prob also?

only fuel pressure will tell. Did you replace the pick up "sock" filter in the tank?

put a new fuel and everything on it we just change the distbture coil and wires and it still does it could it be the fuel regulator ?
