Driver side armrest

Hi all
Driver side armrest just felloff, how in the world do you reattatch?

Your profile states that you have a 2000 windstar.
I am only familiar with my '96...and the armrest on mine is a part of the inner door panel.....all 1 molded assembly.

I would recommend that you look at how it was originally attached.....may have been glued?
If so, then that would be the way to put it back.

Someone with a 2000, or near that year may have better advice.

The service manual says;

1. Raise the armrest to the upright position.

2. Release the clip and remove the armrest.

1. To install, reverse the procedure.

The picture shows that at the pivot point there is a retaining clip.

That is all the service manual says.

Thanks for your help, i saw the clip could not figure it out
The bolt had a round shoulder, so i ground two flat spots and used a wrench to screw in
