Lights stay on
Hello
I have a 2001 Camry. When the car is turned off, the lights will not go out untill the drivers side door is open. I have turned the car off while waiting for someone and forgot to open the door and the battery goes dead in less then a half hour. Is this normal? thank you jeanne |

The lights/headlights going out when the engine is not running; drivers side door open and in the off position is a convenience feature for people who exit there cars and forget to turn off their headlights. The bottom line is you have to make it a habit to shut off your lights when the engine is not running. no dead battery this way. take care.JOET/CAMRY |
