Are these the same as Montanna?

The interiors of the Ventures and Montanna look the same. Are both vans identical, same engines and problems etc? I am looking for another minivan between a 98 and 02 since the tranny on my 94 voyager finally croaked. The body on the Montanna looks a little heavier or more rugged. Are these 2 essentially the same van?

Yes, they are basically identical, as well as the Olds Silhouette minivans.

Re: Are these the same as Montanna?

Yeah, my 97 Voyager went through 3 transmissions. Didn't cost me too much since I removed and replaced them myself and had someone rebuilt it everytime. We drove that van quite a lot though....Florida to NJ a couple of times, Florida to Toronto once and weekly trips from Tampa to Orlando. Got our money's worth I'd say.

Our 02 Venture was purchased in 2004 with 30k miles and now has 110k with only regular oil changes, front brake job and a couple of bulbs....oh, and a new battery.

On the other hand, a retired postal worker I know has an 04 Venture and he tells me everytime I see him how lucky he is for buying the extended warranty. Numerous problems and less mileage than my 02.

Darren.
