Aveo auto trans FYI.
It an Aisin-Warner AW81-40LE. AW's are some of the best IMO. The nice thing about the Aveo auto is they have a drain plug and a dipstick, which makes for super easy drain/fills. Here's some info: http://media.gm.com/us/powertrain/en..._Aisin_MLQ.xls

Re: Aveo auto trans FYI.
My 04Aveo auto with 32k sometimes shifts late into overdrive when its cold. Is this Normal? I know some cars do this to warm up faster to reduce emissions. Help!

if the motor and trans are cold it wont shift into a higher gear to help speed up the warm up process.

Yes, nice find. Good to know I can drain without droping pan.
