89 Prelude wont start.

I have an 89 prelude that has been sitting for awhile that won't start. I originally thought the problem was that the alarm was going off and I had no way to turn it off, but after getting a replacement clicker for the alarm and turning it off it still won't start. It cranks, it seems to be getting spark. It just wont turn over. Is there an easy way to tell if the fuel pump is pumping fuel and if the engine is getting fuel? any other suggestions?

Re: 89 Prelude wont start.

I had a problem with mine doin pretty much the same thing. Mine was due to a dirty cap and rotor. It was getting a spark but it was too weak to do anything. I replaced the cap and rotor. Got some NGK blue plug wires and some iridium plugs made a huge difference in the way the car drove.
