unable to pull ABS code on 1996
HI,was hoping someone might have an idea on what is going on with the ABS in a 1996.The light is on all the time so I took it to have it checked last night and when trying to pull the code for the ABS light the scan tool just aborts every time but the mechanic was able to pull my airbag code and anything else but it seems the ABS system just won't do anything at all.

Does your abs seem to be working?

they seem to work up to the end of a hard stop and then the back will lock for just a few feet.

Re: unable to pull ABS code on 1996
If you perform a search on this forum, you'll find that it's pretty common for the rear ABS sensors to fail.
