side moldings

How are the black side moldings attached to a 97 metro LSI ?

Looking thru the 98 fsm it's showing all models have glue on molding, using a double coated tape.

to reattach, i've used weatherstrip glue with success. the ends used to come loose regularly. if that's the problem and you decide to use glue, be sure to mask off the area around the strip.
