Well... yeah whoever said that some Chinese models do have them is right. There are very few that have electric roofs. They are really cool looking and all but since the roof is so rare they weren't very effective at all. Not recommended. But a Del Sol is a very good first car regardless of the roof.

Yes, JDM Del Sols had a power roof called the trans-top. It was notorious for problems and is more work than it's worth. There are no aftermarket conversions to speak of.

The glass top is called the Ameripool.
They go for around $500-700 dollars.
