Difficulty of an axle install on an 89 Honda Accord coupe?
Both of my CV joints are gone, so methinks it's time to swap in new axles... however, I'm not entirely sure how difficult this is.
The Haynes manual would seem to indicate it's quite simple (just pry the axles out with a pry bar? yeesh, I was at least expecting bolts or somesuch), but has anyone tried it only to find some hidden difficulty in the process? |

well i'm not familiar with your accord but i think the difficulty is in removing the axle nut and poping out the steering knuckle from the balljoints. the actual axle change i'd say it takes about 10 minutes if the axle is a bitch and does not want to go thru the strut fork if u have any.
