2001 LS Starting/Possible Fuse problem

I have a 2001 Lincoln LS V8. A couple of days ago the battery was dead. So I charged the battery. I then attempted to start the car, but with the charger (50 Amp) still connected (don't ask!). The car didn't start, and the power is completely dead. Anybody here have any idea on what to do? I think I might have blown a fuse, and I've found the front fusebox under the hood, but can't figure out which fuse could have blown or how to check it out. Any help appreciated.

There is also a relay/fuse block near the battery in the spare tire well. If you have absolutely no power, then check that box.

When you say the power is completely dead, does that mean you don't have interior lights, etc. and no cranking of the engine when trying to start? Have you tested the battery to see what kind of voltage it has? It could have an internal open, and if your charger has overload protection, that could explain why the engine won't start even with the charger connected. Prior to trying to start with the charger connected, were the interior lights working?
