Help needed on 91 PA: central locking system & remote control

Once in a while I can not lock/unlock my PA (or open the trunk) with the remote control even though I have put fresh batteries in it! No matter how hard I try or how close I am standing to the car. After a couple of hours of doing nothing the problem is gone and it is working like a charm again...

Stand near the car & press both the door lock and door open buttons. Hold for about 10-sec. This is required in order to resynchronize the remote with the receiver. You may also want to check the battery retainer clip pins inside the remote control to be sure, the soldered pins are not loose.
